love seeks moments most opportune
if not to stalk the sky and drown
in seas of sorrows painted in colours

luck may have a hand in wanting
to harness the attentions of a fair
lady a jewel of a find 

to thwart a desire in business 
resolute with serious reasoning

of a boy armed with a sling-shot

planning in moments of despair 
but with a splash of brilliance to light 

the way down the elephant's pit hole 

be wary to face layers of difficulties
peppering the thoughts of the mouse

whose insistence may clutter the mind

pick a ribbon of hope as divine
intervention will make it easy with
blessings to uplift the spirits of souls 

with a mop of shiny white hair
