ReplyDelete-- "not shaken by the enormity/that dogged many a young heart": surely this is one of the larger-than-life qualities of a child prodigy's stunning talent. You hear it and you can only say, Wow!
ReplyDeleteOh, this takes me back to the days when my girls learned to play stringed instruments, my oldest the viola, and my youngest the cello. They took on the challenge boldly and were very accomplished musicians.
