A white rose bravely taking a stand
Stuck in a cloudy mess of smoky pink
Holding on fighting back on the bend
Wanting to stick to its guns with a sting

Looking down from way up in the sky
A bird's eye view spanning the horizon
Moral support lacking either way up high
Tightly in a sphere painstakingly bound

Doubly protected with a thorny aroma
Shooting blanks in noisy staccato bursts
Playing to a show of set political drama
Contending to win easily with lots of firsts
