Two hearts locked in place exquisitely beautiful

Image: Two Hearts Locked In Place (here)

What of it?
Reflecting on good fortune snug on a pedestal
When life was of prophetic indications pulsating
Looking to the sky clouds bidding as palatable
A tussle to recollect images of a pretty plaything

What of sweet recollections?
Gracious imaginations with mutual feelings of awe
Boy and girl whispering sweet nothings manifold
Insisting on a sacrifice towards a future together
Warm memories nostalgic in  part but put on hold

What of uncanny acquiesce?
The winter of their life together devoid of fears
Meant for each other a relationship so blissful
What kept alive little anecdotes of yesteryears
Two hearts locked in place exquisitely beautiful

  4. When two hearts are firmly locked in place, there's not much, if anything, that can come between them.

  5. I Really like the notion of two hearts locked into place, Hank here - like previously missing pieces of a jigsaw. Ideal love often feels like this...

  6. Enjoyed the way the entirety of the relationship existed in the bond, with the good ever present.

  7. Hank, I love the last stanza - two hearts locked in place, during the winter of their life they can still experience the beauty of love.

  8. Those questions kicking off each verse really grabs me. To me they are semi-admissions that yes, life and love aren't perfect bliss, but long lasting relationships are a composite of good and bad, and that after a time memories of the good can eclipse the bad.

  10. My favourite kind of love story - one that lasts, kept alive by memories of all they have been through together. Lovely, Hank.

  11. The secret is to accept your partners imperfections as they hopefully accept yours, nobody is perfect but being honest helps a lot.
