Tiger was champ once

Pebble Beach hosted
the Open five times whereas
Tiger was champ once

In some minds he was
perhaps for all times but for
some he just blew it

Quartz pebbles strewn on
the beach all colorful and
shiny when polished

But for Tiger the
shine was no more and his game
likewise took a dip

  2. Loved both of these, Hank. Sad to say, my mind goes to Karma when I see what's happened to Tiger. And I love polished quartz--have a wee collection myself.

  6. Well, I don't think that Tiger will ever be the golfer he was. Sadly.

  12. Ha! This is a very funny combination of elements. For Tiger, getting hit in the face by a golf club before his wife got so upset she drove a car into the tree probably had a lingering effect! k.

  13. Too bad for Tiger but there are younger players now, healthier and competitive too ~
