A Shadorma
a shadorma is composed of six non-rhyming
lines and the syllable pattern is 3-5-3-3-7-5

being discarded
you feel too?
Yes I do
why must they do this to us?
why invent cell phones!

A Limerick
Rhyme structure is AABBA (lines 1,2 and 5
rhyme, and 3 & 4 rhyme with each other)

I’m feeling bored and I feel so lonely
I only have you all day for company
No queuing  over us
We are now useless
I miss hearing all those juicy stories

For Georgia's hosting at Mindlovemisery Menagerie
where the picture prompt above is provided and we
are challenged to write a shadorma and a limerick

  1. lol progress leaves them collecting dust, maybe they can talk to dust mites lol

  2. Yeah, those are a thing of the past now, aren't they?

  3. Cell phones have really ruled the world now.

  4. I can relate to this Hank, well written.

  5. I bet they DO miss the juicy stories, LOL! :)

  6. You know ... we still have a few of these around here in Italy ... there much actually be someone somewhere without a cell phone! Loved how you took up the challenge you did a very good job. Hope to see more of your writing in the future! Thanks for participating.
