with lethal beaks and talons
where land creatures are fair game

Written for OpenLinkNight week #108 and Chev’s CARPE DIEM of
Tan Renga Challenge #9 - with free like a bird where Chev provided
the haiku of a 5-7-5 syllable count. We are to add two lines of 7-7 syllables
to create a Tan Renga

  6. A friend who flys light aircraft as a hobby, once took me up and practiced stalling...that was more than enough for me...I wouldn't want to experience anything faster or more hair raising!

  7. Cool picture juxtaposing the fighter planes to the talon of an eagle. Is this form called a Tanka also? I like it.
