Revelation

Awareness wilted
Community service waned
Pandering to self

Modern living, self
interest uppermost and
selfish in nature

What revelation?
Urbanized folks restrained from
extending a hand

  2. Yeah so very true
    The more urbanized the view
    The less they do
As it's all about the me crew

  3. It is sad that we (people) are sometimes to afraid to step in. If it's because of "self interest| than that is something else. Well done and a good message.

  5. You've caught the modern world, Hank. Fortunately, there are some still some people who care about each other.

  6. Well said Hank. This is why I don't stop dreaming of one day going back to live in the countryside. I love the positive old ways there not found in urban areas.

  7. This said so much~ It hurts to see this happen~ It is the way of our times, not wanting to get involved~
Humanity is losing the human condition...sad!

  17. I understand what you are trying to say.. true, very true sadly. I've not tried to help much, neither have others when I've been down... maybe its reciprocative, but the question remains, who started it?

  18. Oh, I hope it's not true that urbanisation keeps us from helping each other!
