The owl pining for
the moon. An aspiration
in futility

What will inspire
an object of love far off?
Image in the heart!

Best to compromise
Patience of  a wanderer
Rewarded in time

Written for Chev's haiku at CARPE DIEM #204 with prompt - moon

  1. what inspires love far off? perhaps the dream we have of them...or even the feel they give when we are with them...even when we are not with them...smiles...
