Come With Me!

Come with me, I said
We’ve had it all made
Just you and me
Venture across the country
Foster feelings of  fraternal ties
With kins we bade good-bye
Long ago when we sought
To venture forth abroad
To seek our fortune
Which was then the norm

Come with me, I said
You remember the fate
Of those who had cold feet
Not wanting to make a bid
To change their life-style
But to stay on awhile
Which later turned to years
After which they discard the urge
To ever venture out again
Not wanting to try and gain

Come with me, I said
The plans had been laid
Visions of wealth bountiful
Picked at ease plentiful
Stand up and be counted
Garner all the efforts
The strength of purpose
Made up without rehearse
To make a bold stand
All set to implement

Come with me, I said
It just couldn't wait!
Let's pay them a visit!

  21. I was with you on this one, Hank, line by line. It has a nice read.

At the end you reminded me of the time when my work buddy wanted me to venture with him in getting a balloon piloting license. We would sit in lawn chairs with helium balloons attached, enough to get us lifted off the ground. One flight would qualify us for flight.

About twenty years later this was done. I do not know what the purpose of their flight was.

Thank you for using the prompt. I did not get mine written until today so it won't be on the OSI page this time.

    2. Very interesting Dr Jim! You're one who ventures out on your interests that relates very much with your expertise. Others would like to but are handicapped by lack of knowledge. Great!

  29. With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation?

My site has a lot of unique content I've either written myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement. Do you know any methods to help prevent content from being stolen? I'd certainly appreciate it.
