Lighted Malls

At this juncture
with rising crime rate,
a lighted Mall isn't a novelty
anymore. It's a security measure.
City elders must realize this!

  1. You dealt with some pretty tight restraints well! And made a good point.

  2. Malls are good for walking, Hank. and those lighted ones make it possible at night.
In Texas our malls are enclosed and air conditioned to make walking (and shopping) possible in our heat.

  3. Such a shame but, such are the times of well disguised insanity by so many now too.

  5. Good one, Hank. Our previous home was in a city with a high crime rate. Not much crime here, although I did read a police report about a stolen flower pot!

  7. agree completely....safety is def a high priority and the light at least makes them be more obvious if they are going to do dastardly deeds...

  8. Sad but true, Hank. I must admit (and this is the pastor's wife speaking) I think all the trappings of commercial Christmas appeal to the adrenalin rush people need. It's fed through buying... and followed by depression when the credit cards come in! Great take on a hard challenge, man. Amy

  17. Are all those malls a symptom or a cause of the crime? So many 'marks' available to be robbed, so much envy of all those glittering goods. We don't have them here, thank goodness. In UK cities "shopping" has become an accepted weekend hobby. Not in our low crime, rural economy... yet.
