Rush to stake a claim!

Image: Spoiling for a Share (here)

The three of a kind
Found milling around
Bidding for the shine
When homeward bound

Night moths were lost
Some radar confusion
Holding onto a cause
Flailing wings collision

Liken to human failings
On seeing an attraction
Would commence fighting
Selfish intents for a portion

Rush to stake a claim
Be first to grab the spoils
Conflicts became intense
Self-interest came to a boil

  2. i find it so sad
    that thir attraction leads them
to death...though i guess it is romantic
    as well.

  4. Attraction isn't always the best thing, have to keep it in check or off with the head

  5. I agree with comment above, we do most of the time bring on our own troubles, but there is certainly many out there who also causes trouble out of spite.

  9. Good interpretations!
(From a book I read parts of every day):
"Selfishness--self-centeredness! That, we think, is the root of our troubles.."
    Pg 62 "Alcoholics Anonymous"

I shall think of the moth when that character defect shows itself.
    Thank you.
