Choice

Been a long time since
You had left without a word
I could only yearn

There were some letters
and ‘papers. Hung them up just
for your convenience

It was just a joke
You took it seriously, let
bygones be bygones

Your hairstyle is your own choice
Will keep my mouth shut!

  5. haha yes some people just have no humor
So sometimes it is best to keep our trap shut
But then that can be hard to do as well

  6. Aw, Hank, true to life! Until true love comes relationships can be soooo fickle.
(I think it is the same way when love fades; seen than before and been there myself too.)

  9. Here's hoping I never let a hairstyle get in the way of a good relationship ~ though an apology like this might help repair things ........ :)

  11. There is just a hint of regret here, but I’m reading between the lines So often an offhand remark can be deeply wounding.

  13. There is an invitation in here, yes? Yet, the humor--you already know that silence would only be saying the same thing in a different way.

  15. thats a lovely humorous take on the picture. personally, the rule of 'yes dear' is the safest one to follow.voicing your own opinions or even having them, is not something that relationships take very kindly!

  23. Keeping one's mouth shut sometimes is a good thing; unfortunately often one learns it after the fact.
