Youthfulness

Image 1: A Ben Barnes' movie poster of Oscar Wilde's only published novel 'The Portrait of Dorian Gray'

Static Aging

Elixir of youth
Opened the  Pandora’s box
Wrought with failed attempts

Age-old desire
To falter and arrest youth
Vanity  holds true

With Dorian Gray
Imaginations run loose
Can a picture help?

  6. I like the first haiku most, Hank. You make me wonder what horrors the failed attempts produced!

  12. I often wonder why we can't just accept the fact that we all grow old, lose our powers (along with our good looks), and die. I know, I'm being pretty blunt. But that's what I wonder!
