10 of 12 given words:
preen (making oneself look attractive)
single cheat climb leap reap
seal feeble lean truth

Botox 'plastic' nose and chins
How ladies preen themselves
With the single purpose of being
pretty and they are not cheats
Ladies look more elegant and
desirable when they look good

High-heeled and prim to project
a sexy gait without extra efforts
Enhanced rump and breasts to be
described as 'generously endowed'

The climb to the top is a great leap
forward with minimal efforts
To reap the gains to seal a future
of leisure is all in their hands
No more Plain Janes with feeble
excuses of not making out but
one with lean and stunning good
looks to make their man happy

Truth be told do man mind at all?

  1. An interesting read, Hank. It is likely true that some men put appearance at the top of the list. I have never been a fan of surgically enhanced looks. What you see is what you get. (Maybe that's why no one came shopping, LOL.)

  2. Looks are not a fixed thing. Sooner or later, we all look old - though, these days, some of us look old ... with plastic faces. Far too much time and effort is spent on appearance. It is so superficial!

  3. Haha I think loving someone that doesn't seem to be "attractive" is a heck of a lot better than loving a beautiful statue.

  4. It comes to all us ladies (and men) when faces and places needs improving.
    Great poem Hank.

  5. If they are good men - i'd tend to say all they see is the person..not the outside dressing

  6. There is also a bit of narcissism involved we like to know we are looking pretty

Hank Thanks for linking in at my Sunday Standard

    much love...

  7. Yeah, I'll skip the plastic parts any day at my bay.

  8. Its so important to observe every aspect of a person's character. Beautifully penned, Hank ❤️

  9. Nope! Men prefer natural. If only women realized that.

  10. Lots of hopscotch leaps that end up being tied together, such as leisure and plastic noses and chins. I think their lips look like they were stung by bees. But the woman above is pretty in pink.

  11. very powerful writing. sad how women in our society are programmed to see "enhanced" and "altered" as more desirable.

  12. Those who go this way end up being mere clones.

  13. Prefer inner beauty more than outer.
    Inner beauty last forever.
    It makes couples attached together.

    Thanks Uncle Hank.
Will bring the boys to visit you n Aunt Yang soon.
