Storm

A gathering storm
starts rather innocently
but lashed with fury

Provoked and enraged
stormy union knows no bounds
love disentangled

Rantings pacified,
endearment tormented was
but an oversight

Written for Leo's Haiku Heights #198 with prompt -storm-

  1. I'm afraid I know the "stormy union" of which you write all too well!

    Still the Storm

  2. You have caught the essence very well in just a few short, powerful lines.

  3. this works on several levels, in reality...and as a metaphor as well...both the emotion and storm can come on pretty quick and pass the same as well....nice intensity
