Engaged for love

The Clarity Pyramid has eight lines.
The first line has one syllable, the second
line has two syllables, the third line has
three syllables … etc., on to the eighth
line which has eight syllables.

Only the syllable count
is adhered to here:
Home
where the
heart was lodged

Engaged for love
Could not be better
Couples were grinning wide
Giving life to their feelings

Could one be faulted for failing?

  5. Love seeing what direction someone else took this challenging prompt in. It was a lot of fun, wasn't it? Thanks :-)

  6. Very interesting --- it seems to be all roses and hearts --- but the ending --- "Could one be faulted for failing?" --- makes me wonder if it all fell apart in the end?

    Nicely done !
