Honey

Honey, ever so sweet
Never missing breakfast
together just two of us
It's heavenly, it's blissful

Ever like two young lovers
rekindling back the old flames
of love nurtured through the years
Never another moment to match

What do we have here?
Honey and toast the most
healthy of foods don't you think!
Yes, nectar of sorts of varied flowers

Regurgitation and evaporation
A process acted through the ages
The hard working honey bees
In honeycombs storing them as honey

Human kind with all good intentions
Rob them of their nature's best
But they slave and slog still on
Injustice not a restriction

  4. I remember when I first learned how honey is made and I could not bring myself to eat it for a long, long time! So many uses for it though, and those bees do work hard!

  6. This makes me miss the bee hives I used to have on my old property: it was wonderful to have the different seasons' tastes in jars, a bit like different wine years.

  10. I find honey a little to sweet, so for me I can spare some sympathy for the bees, who also help us fill the orchards with fruit.

  15. What a sweet topic! It does kind of make it sound like a processed food though with that regurgitation going on. :-)

me. Personally, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will likely be a lot more

  26. Howdy, I do believe your web site could possibly be having internet
browser compatibility problems. When I look at your web site in Safari, it looks fine however, when opening
in IE, it has some overlapping issues. I simply wanted to give you
a quick heads up! Aside from that, fantastic site!
