Day is done. They troop
back to their homes wondering,
What have I achieved?

Dusk transforms to a
darkened stupor to welcome
a night of conscience

They seek peace of night
with hopes they are blessed nearer
towards nirvana

Written for Leo's Haiku Heights #205 with prompt - dusk -

  10. Nice poem, Hank. Dusk is a slowing isn't it?

That would also equate with growing older. We played dominoes, Texas 42, last night with the old folk. Only two were younger than I was. The oldest was 87 and he was going strong.

There was a lot of reminiscing going on but we all stayed until midnight plus.

  21. amazing, introspection of the day went by is good, it gives you threads to hold on for the nest day and a clear vision of goal.

    I loved the concept.
