Is it a bias bickering in the subconscious?

inspired by Sanaa's  - We write to rekindle the inner spirit

Is it that sloppy not to be inspiring
Is it a bias bickering in the subconscious?
Lots of times the inner feel is prancing
What seems to be outrightly obvious

Ensnare the dim and outrageous overcast
To make it palatable to the inner self
Touch a segment of one's seismic blast
To be supportive not shoved on the shelf

Put it on paper not left off a shabby mind
Never to shoot down a bright little spark
Not to force but replenish a little a time
Some perspiration will endure not plain luck

So it is, tickle the playful inner spirit
To rekindle an old glory where deems fit

  1. Strange that you should be writing about the "Inner Mind" I have been reading about the two minds we posses and what role they play in our lives. Excellent verse Hank, most enjoyable to read.

  2. I am sure there are two of us in there, good and bad, playful and sad, compliant and rebel, what a job it is to keep them in harness, however when you have given them their head it is hard to rein them in! Great post Hank.

  3. Whistles!!❤️💜This is absolutely stupendous writing, Hank😀 I love how you depict human mind and the inner conflict that we face, especially; "Put it on paper not left off a shabby mind. Never to shoot down a bright little spark. Not to force but replenish a little a time. Some perspiration will endure not plain luck." Beautifully rendered. Thank you so much for participating at Prompt Nights and for your constant love and support❤️💜

    Lots of love,
