to contend with no entrapments

Saturday Mix – Opposing Forces - the use of antithesis
the words are:
– simple and complicated
– vowel and consonant

can it get any worse than it is
waiting cautiously for attention
looking for an answer to please
amidst throes of anticipation

simple solutions wrought
with complicated arguments
not something to be fought
to contend with no entrapments

lots of vowels of abhorrence
within blandishments of consonants
cajolement with good sentiments
wise conclusion of appeasements

  5. Lots of attraction into the traps, friend! Even this poem traps one in! And then there's the illustration. Once caught, there is no escape.

  6. Sometimes we walk unknowingly into a trap and realize it later. Oh the agony 😥 This is an excellent poem, Hank!💞

  9. Well we are the most ruthless wild animal on the planet what do you expect but chaos, pain and destruction. As for appeasements..well they last only a short while.

  12. Very cool! My favorite line: 'simple solutions wrought with complicated arguments'. So true.
