Take me to the ocean to savor the unseen

Image: Sunrise - Courtesy of Sanaa's (here)

Yearnings and fancies dance in unison
Take me to the ocean to savor the unseen
Heard say there were pirates so fearsome
Walking the plank a thrill seeking whim

Buccaneers of old chronicled in romances
Dashing and daring in exploits of adventure
In reality robbers and killers in many instances
Acting bravely only when in a big number

Rather take me to oceans serene and peaceful
Wildlife gliding in the deep in friendly gestures
Smaller ones food for predators if not careful
Otherwise beauty of movements of sea creatures

Above waters rapport of sunrise and sunsets seen
Presenting kaleidoscopic array of colors any day
Lighthouse in the distance of a nocturnal pristine
Take me to oceans uncharitable but unbridled in play

For Sanaa's Prompt Nights #7  -  take me to the ocean

  5. Much can be taken in by the ocean, as one does play by the bay

  6. Pirates are exciting but best left in storybooks - a nice peaceful beach is definitely best
