The fabric of life's macabre vision
Expounding its will on the morrow
Those threatened scrambled for positions
Not to pulsate in throes of sorrow

Embroidery set in sophisticated patterns
Salient in rough skins of colors so loud
Seldom to malign strong lyrics in rhythm
A character prim with extraordinary clout

Can life be so planned to wield such power
A creature with sentiments all set to sire
Satiated with elements regal in nature
Pandemonium unleashed to emerge a destroyer

    1. Thanks Brian! I just can't ignore the power that exudes from the pic. It creates that threat present in most situations that one faces in life! A great Mon to start the week!

  2. each surely destroys another no matter what it is, seems to go round and round. Like the flow to this one a lot too at your ground.

  7. Yeahhh...I love the natural rhythm of this piece and the rhymes work extraordinarily well. Its a wonder to watch the sometimes viscious cycle that plays our in front of our eyes and this punctuates it with a flair for sure. Great writing.

    1. Thanks Herotommost! It's the way of the world right from the simplest forms. Poets are privileged to exchange ideas which ordinarily others ignore!

  9. every creature has a different meaning ..
what's seems cruel to us is a physiological need for another..

  10. The "embroidery" line is splendid and yes, there is something powerfully aggressive about the looks of these creatures.
