Rough Diamonds

Young Upstarts

Dare make an attempt
Fascination struck softly
None that are refined

Mark of innocence
Reckless show of defiance
Unrelenting kinds

Juvenile and crude
Not one to be seen friendly
Unbridled upstarts

Unflinching movements
Rough diamonds lack polishing
But all is not lost!

Haiku inspired for d'Verse OpenLinkNight

  1. a rough diamond is still a diamond...smiles...and they certainly need someone to polish them...

  2. Brian - A process takes place but the doses vary. The parents are the likely ones to polish!

  3. Love the pic, which you probably knew. As the kitties sure go at it when they are small, even when they are big and tall. Life helps them take shape, even a hairy ape.

    1. Right Pat! Good thing about kitties
They are cute and they purr when stroked
They respond fast and are lively
That would melt most of the folks

Love the message of your poem, I wonder if I was a good polisher.

All of us start wild! And it was fun to do.It's what you make of it later in life that matters. When we are enlightened shows that we are in firm control. Great!
