it seems bizarre

the 10 of 12 given words:
bizarre ground crash doubt
clear entry bid offer spent weight

it seems bizarre
with her pet lying on the ground
thrown in as a gate crasher

there is no doubt
it is a clear entry
as an insurance
in a bid to safeguard her
a lion-tamer of a lady
waiting for her beau

what is on offer
tea for two
to be spent
with her beau a weight-lifter
the handsome attraction of the Big Tent

Yes, the circus is in town
Every pretty lass is hoping for
a date with the strong-man

Would a wide-eyed sweet young thing
care to grapple with a lion first?

  1. Three cheers for the circus Hank. Many a happy time spent years ago. Great verse and thanks for sharing.

  2. A weight lifter might provide enough security, given the lion under the tea table. Smiles.

  3. Forgive me if I don't sit down for afternoon tea with you...I've got to rush off; not only that my body is no way comparable to a weight lifter and I'm allergic to cats!
