I aim to write, anything at all

pushes a plow to clear the snow (here)

11 of 12 given words:
aim trample dense band ransom
change dangerously tale rain day magic

I aim to write, anything at all
it does however, encroach unto self-pity
to be trampled or to be catapulted into
the air my mind seems to side-step many times
and gets into a dense band of objections
playing hard to get, making it hard to start

holding my creativity to ransom
change seems dangerously a risky effort
a tale playing against logic and sanity

then the rains appear and awash with ideas
I reach out to snowflakes that float by
ensnared ideas are set to develop
by the day to the long-awaited poems
to support a train of thoughts
pulling through the thick snow
It's magic!

  3. I too like the train of thought pulling through and I also like "then the rains appear and awash with ideas"

  4. I love the way things morph, how it starts with little hope... but ends up by showing that with a bit (or a lot) of imagination poetry will happen.

  5. Sure can come on in and then ideas a plenty with the train a chugging right along.
