virgin green fresh as Springtime
to start a lineage

it worked its wonders
attraction no more, fulfilled
mothering the young

life cycle invoked
beginnings of a breakout
bold starting out strong

  5. This is such a fantastic piece, Hank! I love the imagery of the flowers as they transition through life in their life cycle. It's quite beautiful in each description, each stanza written with absolute eloquence. Great piece here, thank you for sharing!
