In the nights it registers its presence
Not wanting to show its true colours
But enough to cause sweet bothers
Emerging for a split second or longer
Then disappears into Davy Jone's locker
Can one believe dreams that appear
Foretelling of what’s coming in the future

Can one believe dreams that appear
Foretelling of what’s coming in the future
Rare occasions may spring a surprise
Uncanny similarity etched in memory survive
The morning after a good dream to remember
A bonus for good living to relive thereafter
Good dreams the aftermath of good intentions
Prodding the human self in pleasurable simulations
In classic fashion and in myriads of mixed colours

In classic fashion and in myriads of mixed colours
With realms of the human spirit in the subconscious
