No Dancing Shoes! - MF

Image: Courtesy of Grandma's

Xylophone strains were
not enough to cause
the stuck shoes to dance
The anger when the shoes
were flung up must have
been overwhelming!

  4. Hank,

I like the image, which is unnerving...I believe it can be a sign of death, or a bad happening nearby...Of course, in university areas it might well indicate happy mischief!!

  5. I have seen shoes in trees in many places around here and always wondered why someone would throw their shoes up there!!

  6. That's one way to get rid of old shoes---decorate the tree. It's also a good way to vent your anger or test your skill in getting the shoes to hang on a branch or cable like that!

  7. That's my excuse - it's the shoes! But you said it so well.
