Growing up Pains!

Happiness was when…
You stole it from me
And you said you would
keep it for us
I loved that!

Sadness was when…
You broke it
It affected me emotionally
It was stressful and hurting
For you did not put value
To what I had built up

It was more hurting
When you created a new one
And you gave it away
To my best friend

  3. Sad if one keeps love all for oneself!! Sad is if one takes love and gives it to one's best friend.

  4. Very sad, Hank - that kind of betrayal hurts terribly. But her loss - you are the better man.

  20. Hank,

Written with such honesty, sincerity and hurt. I agree that if fact, or fiction, you have exposed the whole situation when one experiences the trauma of a broken heart.
Sending Happy Valentine's Day Greetings Hank,
    Eileen:)
