That's the kind of farmers we need! What a fun one for the day! Hope your new year is off to a great start! Enjoy!Sylvia
yeap, he does look like a star farmer! Ha
the star farmer strikes again, no he didn't strike oil, he struck grease! very funny twist, loved it.
No grease? Does that mean his farm had no pigs and no oil wells?
No palms were greased in the taking of this award. But perhaps other farmers were "persuaded" into not running...?
Going along with your microfiction farmer theme (<-- Great take, by the way!), I will change my laugh to suit the occasion: Hoe! Hoe! Hoe!
Enjoyed the read, don't see many farmers where I live.Yvonne.
Slight suspicion at the end there :-)Nice one.
I agree with Anthony...I wouldn't have doubted it one bit but then came the disclaimer. Will there be an investigation into the shenanigans of the the regional co-op?
Wonder what they were growing to win such accolades??? :O)
This farmer does look like he is waiting for his picture to be taken. Great take!
Great twist on the theme. Love it! :O)
Excellent! I heard a story this morning about the problem the US is having attracting younger people to the farming industry. Perhaps if there was more grease? Or stability? Or the STAR award?
Methinks he doth protest too much! LOL Nice take on the pic.

Gotta like anyone who wins fair and square. :)
