Dancing in dainty movements - a Quadrille

Image: Dancing with a Fur Seal (here)

Gregarious and gracious
had the gumption to grit
a grubby self in a grueling show
of grandiose gyration

Dancing in dainty movements
a debut to attract the demure dame
undaunted

Must be more immaculate to impart
an impeccable personality
to incite excitement next time
(44 words)

For Bjorn's Quadrille of 44 words at d'Verse
and to include the word  -  dancing and

  6. OMG, is there a fire tale about embracing a seal? Wondrous, yet macabre, so cleverly alliterate, so naughty & imaginative; just too much mirth for this old poet to hold back; smile, chortle, guffaw. I like the lines /a debut to attract the demure dame/undaunted/.

    1. Coming from Glenn Hank feels so elated. Hank will try something with humor perhaps a little naughty yes, but clean. Thanks Glenn!

  9. A delightful blend of prompts. That would be an amazing dance.

Regarding comment: I have deleted nothing important. Early on I was unclear about copyright uses of pictures so I deleted anything that was not mine or did not give credit to...if that makes sense. I do use draft a lot. Some I save and work on but usually if the words don't come the way I want, I do delete the piece...like tearing pages out of an old journal. Shouldn't do it but I do.
