Never had it occurred to me that I
went the far distance that took
went the far distance that took
me off the mark. To my consternation the
decision belittled my travel experiences though not one
on a high pedestal but much less
inclined to those who had travelled
and found opportunities easy to come by
By Robert Frost
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

NICE ONE, HANK
ReplyDeleteMuch love
Nicely done, Hank.
ReplyDeleteThat less travelled road brings new experience. Good for you to take that iconic line. Thanks for joining in Hank. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteHank - great choice of poem to base your Golden Shovel. Robert Frost is one of my favorite poets. It okay to be a lone traveler sometimes in the journey.
ReplyDeleteEvery road got you to here Hank. It doesn't matter which one.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice of poem and poet, Hank!
